Pupillage
Mini-Pupillages
1 Temple Gardens welcomes applications for mini-pupillages. A mini-pupil can expect to spend a week in Chambers, accompanying members of Chambers to court and conferences. The clerks will endeavour to provide mini-pupils with the opportunity to see as diverse a range of work as is possible.
We do not operate a system of formal assessment of mini-pupils. Accordingly, a mini-pupillage at 1 Temple Gardens is relatively informal. It is aimed primarily at providing prospective applicants for pupillage with a chance to see the work that we do and to meet members of Chambers. It also gives us an opportunity to meet you. It is not essential to have done a mini-pupillage with us in order to be considered for pupillage.
We offer mini-pupillages during the Easter and summer holidays with the exception of the month of August. There are no places left for mini pupillages in 2008. Applications for mini-pupillages in 2009 should be submitted by 31 October 2008 with CV and covering letter to Lydia Sweeney. As limited places are available priority is given to those in or about to start final year of law degree/CPE course.
